One Greater than the Temple 
“But I say unto you, that in this place is one greater than the Temple.” (Matthew 12: 6) 
The Temple on the Earth, in the Land of Israel, was planned by David (2-Sam. 7: 5), designed by David (1- Chro. 28: 11) and built by Solomon (1- King 8: 20). But the whole pattern of the Temple was given by the Spirit of God (1-Chro. 28: 12), the pattern was drawn by the writing of the hand of God (Chro. 28: 19). And the God whose spirit and hand drew the whole pattern of the Temple was the Lord God Jesus Christ, and that is why Jesus Christ, The Lord, is greater than the Temple of Solomon. His greatness over the Temple testifies that Jesus was the real and True God existing in heavens even before he came into Flesh.
He is greater than the Temple because he gave the command to build the temple on the Earth. And this temple was only a glimpse of the heavenly Temple of God already existing beyond Paradise. The Temple on the earth was a copy of the Real and everlasting Temple of Heaven, and The Real God and creator resided in that heavenly Temple and was worshipped by his saints. And the one, who was greater than the heavenly Temple, was certainly greater than the earthly Temple of Solomon.
Jesus Christ was himself the Temple of God and an abode of The Holy Spirit of God. The adversaries destroyed the bodily Temple of Jesus, but God raised his bodily Temple out of the dead ones. The grave, the death and mortality could not overcome the Temple of Jesus. He was victorious over the Temple of Flesh and rose again out of death, and that was why he was greater than the Synagogue of Solomon (John 2: 19-22) because he overcame death and destruction. Solomon’s Temple was destroyed many times and rebuilt many a time, and than was totally destroyed by the enemies. But the bodily Temple of Jesus Christ was crucified for the sins of mankind, was buried and then again revived. That was why the Temple of the Personality of Christ is greater than all the temples of The World. (Acts 2: 31).
“Know ye not that ye are the Temple of God, and that the spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defiles the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is Holy, which temple ye are?” (1- Corinth. 3: 16-17) 
These are the words of the mouth of the one who was greater than the Jerusalem Temple. Jesus Christ is greater than the bodily temple of human being. Why? Because humans are not holy, they are sinners. Therefore hear the Voice of Christ, and make your temple of life holy by doing holy and righteous works of God and by avoiding all sins, and by repenting from your sins and accepting Jesus as the temple of your Life, Amen.
